Bridal Portraits | Christen at the Norfolk Pagoda

We had the fun opportunity to get to know Christen Allocco, of Allocco Design a few weeks ago. She just got married this past March and we met up with her at the Pagoda in Norfolk during the golden hour(s) to take some bridal portraits. She even put together her own bouquet for the shoot! Christen seriously does it all, guys, because she also designed her own wedding invitation suite! Her dress kind of matches her personality in that it's flowey and lighthearted, and her long veil complimented it perfectly. All in all the evening was laid back and fun as we got to know Christen a little better while walking from the Pagoda, around the Freemason District, and back.

We also discovered that bridal sessions are a wonderful way to get more pictures of that gorgeous wedding dress, without the pressure of a timeline or a wedding to get through! Plus, it gives you more time in the dress that you obviously love so much. I know I wouldn't mind putting my dress on again for a few pictures! We hope you enjoy scrolling through these. Feel free to leave some love in the comments and check out Christen's design business!

Her hand-lettered invitation suite. All the heart eyes for this beautiful script and popping colors!

And check out her bouquet. She wanted peonies in it, and we almost took the ones from my peony bush, but she used hydrangeas instead, and it turned out beautifully!
